New York, NY – (September 17, 2026) – Slowburn, the dynamic romance imprint of
independent publisher Zando, alongside #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author
Brynne Weaver, has announced a new four-book deal with Weaver for publication beginning in
2028. The eight-figure deal consists of two untitled duologies by Weaver, author of
internationally acclaimed works The Ruinous Love Trilogy and Seasons of Carnage series.

Her first series with Slowburn, The Ruinous Love Trilogy, was an overnight BookTok sensation with the first book, Butcher & Blackbird, currently in pre-production for a major film adaptation.
